AI is already in your church. Your staff is using it. Your volunteers are using it. Most churches have no policy governing any of it. That is a problem waiting to happen. This free kit gives you everything you need to put a policy in place before something goes wrong.

How to Use the Kit

Step 1: Adapt the Policy Template

Open the policy template and replace placeholders with your church’s name, leadership structure, and ministry priorities. Adjust language so it reflects your theology and culture. This takes 30-60 minutes.

Step 2: Review with Leadership

Walk it through your elders or leadership team. Allow 20-30 minutes for discussion and questions. Adopt the policy by vote or consensus. Your board can adopt it in one meeting.

Step 3: Train Staff and Volunteers

Use the rollout plan to introduce the policy to staff and volunteers. Collect signed acknowledgment forms from everyone. This takes one 30-45 minute training session.

Step 4: Communicate to Your Congregation

Use the rollout plan’s sample pulpit language to introduce the policy from the pulpit. Distribute the one-page summary. Post the full policy on your website. Review annually.
