About the Church
First Baptist Church is a congregation of 40 in a small town in eastern Tennessee. Our senior pastor of 8 years has retired, and we’re searching for a new full-time pastor.
The Role
The interim pastor would preach on Sunday mornings, provide basic pastoral care, and help the church prepare for the search process. Estimated 6-12 months.
Compensation
- $1,500/month stipend
- Parsonage available if needed
- 30 days notice on either side
Qualifications
- Ordained minister
- Experience with interim ministry preferred
- Strong preaching skills
