The pastor will serve as the spiritual leader of the church through preaching, teaching, prayer, and exhorting the saints through the inspiration of God's Word. He will guide the church in aspects of spiritual and numerical growth, as well as in outreach to the local community. We are seeking a man who has a heart for people from all backgrounds, races, and ethnicities. He must be committed to evangelizing the lost and discipling those who come to know the Lord as Savior. The pastor prospect must meet the Spiritual qualifications and requirements prescribed for pastoral ministry as noted in scripture: 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; and 1 Peter 5:1-3. Thomas Village Baptist Church, Inc. will be open to either a full-time of bi-vocational arrangement, depending on the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
