Troubling Youth Culture Statistic..

A new study from the UK shows that 2 in 5 teenage girls age 13-16 want cosmetic surgery. The main reasons?  Bullying and Confidence.

That is troubling. More troubling is that in the study, 49% wanted surgery for weight loss! What kind of Barbie Doll image have we created for young ladies to live up to!? Psalm 139 states that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Genesis 1 says that we are made in the image of God. We are all unique and beautiful. I am thankful that there are voices out there telling young ladies that they are made by God to serve His purpose, not be a clone of some airbrushed picture somewhere in print or on tv.
