Next week I will be on mission with a team of 19 other people from my church to Ashley, Illinois. 
Ashley is a town that was never large, and most of the major employers have left. The picture here is of the candy factory that at one point made ZERO candy bars. This has been shuttered for many years…
We will be helping a small Rural church with their VBS at the city park. Many children come from an environment of poverty, unemployment, drugs, abuse, and more. We may be the only Jesus they ever meet. Pray that our team represents Him well.
