I had a phone meeting the other day with someone who has been in student ministry since 1966, in the same area. He has hosted a teen evangelism rally every Saturday night since then. They are coming up on 2500 weeks straight.

Billboard1They train students to share Christ with their peers. They send teams of High School and College students to county fairs in three states to lead county fair outreaches.

That is a lot of teenagers. Their ministry targets a 100 mile radius of their base in Evansville, Indiana. That is a lot of small rural towns. That is a long time to be doing the same thing effectively. Let this be a lesson to don’t ever give up what God has called you to do.
