I ran across these the other day when I was shopping for a book. I couldn’t believe it. However there is a spiritual side to this idea. We live in a culture where it’s ok to be “BFF’s” one minute, and chasing after something or someone else the next.
Our youth small groups are studying Elijah this month (1 Kings 17-18). Israel did the same thing. They made God their “BFF”until the Bad Kings led them astray We need to learn from their example and ditch the “BFF” status and make Jesus our Lord.
