What works at your church\ministry for getting the word out about events and activities? What doesn’t?

“Yeah. It was funny because I thought facebook was the best way to get info to my students. This Sunday I told a girl that I messaged her on facebook last month. She gets on facebook everyday. She said, “why did you message me on facebook? Just send me a text if you need something or have a question.” It caught me by surprise. I find email works the best for parents and texting for students. I wish more people would take use of the facebook events, but many don’t. It is a good way to get the word out, but I can’t count on it for an actual sign up for an event, especially with the students…”
