Idea: VBS over Spring Break…

VBS on spring break? This is an “outside the box” idea for many of you, but first, let me ask a few questions.

1) Do you have a hard time carving out a week during the summer to do VBS?

2) Are the bulk of your children’s and youth ministry students still in town for spring break?

3) Is your curriculum of choice available in March or April?

4) Do you love seeing children come to know Christ?

We answered yes to all these questions, and decided to give it a try. That was three years ago, and we haven’t looked back. We have a youth and an adult class as well, and the attendance is at least as good, if not better than the last several years of doing VBS in the summer.

What do you think? Is this something your church would try?
Let’s talk about it in the comments area below…
