Rescue Gospel Conversation Cards for Teenagers

These free, print-and-use cards help teenagers practice thoughtful conversations about Christian faith using the Rescue Gospel framework. The cards offer question prompts, conversation starters, response ideas, a faith-story worksheet, and a follow-up guide. They are intended for voluntary practice with peers, not as a script for pressuring someone or evaluating a friend’s faith.

What’s included

• Five question cards: prompts for exploring ideas about God, sin, rescue, response, and next steps. Invite conversation; do not treat answers as a test.
• Conversation starters: ten ways to ask whether a friend is open to talking about faith.
• Response ideas: brief starting points for common questions. Teenagers should feel free to say “I’m not sure” and seek help from a trusted adult or pastor.
• Faith story worksheet: a simple before, how, and after outline. Share only what feels appropriate; no one needs to disclose private or painful details.
• Follow-up guide: suggestions for listening and responding respectfully when a friend says yes, needs time, or is not interested.
• Prayer card: a prompt for personal prayer. Keep friends’ names and prayer requests private.

How to use the cards

The cards accompany the four-week teen evangelism training series, especially its role-play sessions. A leader can model asking permission, listening without interrupting, and accepting “no” without argument. Participation and sharing should remain voluntary. Follow your church’s youth-safety policies; do not arrange private one-on-one meetings between an adult leader and a minor.

The cards are formatted for standard 8.5 × 11-inch paper and can be cut apart after printing.

The Rescue Gospel framework

The framework uses five questions as conversation prompts rather than a fixed presentation. Adapt the wording to the person and setting, make room for honest questions, and avoid implying that a friend’s response determines the value of the friendship. The goal is respectful conversation, not a promised outcome.
