Free Sunday school lesson for pre-K and kindergarten (ages 4–5) on the ascension of the risen Jesus in Acts 1:1–11. The reviewed PDF provides six pages with volunteer background, 30-minute plan, teacher script, printed picture cards, and family page. It tells the passage faithfully while giving a busy volunteer the words and printed resources needed to teach with confidence.
The memory excerpt is the exact KJV wording “Ye shall be witnesses unto me” (Acts 1:8). Read the complete passage in your preferred translation. The lesson teaches that Jesus rose bodily, promised the Holy Spirit, sent his first witnesses, was taken up, and will come again. The good news of forgiveness through the crucified and risen Christ is explained gently and without pressure.
