Jesus Feeds the 5,000 — Nursery (Ages 0-1)

This free Nursery (ages 0–1) lesson teaches the actual feeding account in John 6:1–15. A large crowd came to Jesus, a boy had five barley loaves and two fish, Jesus gave thanks and fed the people, and the disciples gathered twelve baskets of leftovers.

The PDF includes a complete teacher script, a teacher-held story visual, an age-appropriate activity, a teacher key or visual, and a send-home page. The child-facing memory line is explicitly labeled as a paraphrase of John 6:11; teachers can read Scripture in their preferred translation. The “bread of life” saying is accurately placed later in John 6:35. No food props are needed.
