This free Nursery (ages 0–1) lesson teaches Matthew 3:13–17: Jesus came to John at the Jordan, John baptized him, the Spirit of God descended like a dove, and a voice called Jesus God’s beloved Son.
The PDF includes a complete teacher script, a teacher-held story visual, an age-appropriate activity, a teacher key or visual, and a send-home page. The child-facing memory line is clearly labeled as a paraphrase of Matthew 3:17, and teachers can read the passage in their preferred translation. No water activity is required; baptism questions can follow your church’s pastoral practice.
