The Bronze Serpent: Complaint, Prayer, and God’s Provision — Grades 4–6 Lesson

Free grades 4–6 Sunday school lesson on Numbers 21:4–9. This reviewed seven-page PDF includes complete volunteer background, a timed plan, a reproducible source study, teacher answers, and a family page.

Students follow the route around Edom, Israel’s complaint, bites and deaths, confession, Moses’ prayer, God’s specific instruction, and the bitten people who looked and lived. A genuine Numbers 21:9 KJV excerpt replaces the old memory placeholder. John 3:14–16 is identified as Jesus’ later comparison, with eternal life distinguished from physical survival. The guide does not use snake props or blame illness on a child’s sin; it says a real snakebite requires emergency care.
