Daniel in the Lions’ Den: Faithful Prayer — Junior High Lesson (Daniel 6)

Free junior high Sunday school lesson on Daniel 6:1–28. This reviewed 8-page PDF includes two pages of volunteer background, an age-specific plan, printable source study and teacher key, actual Daniel 6:22 KJV memory text or a clearly labeled excerpt, and a family page.

It follows Daniel’s faithful work, the officials’ plot, Darius’ unjust decree and regret, Daniel’s established prayer, the anxious night, God’s rescue through an angel, the terrible killing of the accusers’ families, and the king’s later proclamation. It neither celebrates that family violence nor promises every faithful person physical safety.
