Jonah and the Great Fish: God’s Mercy for Nineveh — Nursery Lesson (Jonah 1–4)

Free nursery Sunday school lesson on Jonah 1:1–4:11. This reviewed 6-page PDF includes two pages of volunteer teaching background, an age-specific lesson plan, teacher-held visual, actual Jonah 2:9 KJV memory wording or a clearly labeled excerpt, and a family page.

It follows Jonah’s flight, the sailors’ attempt to row to safety, God’s great fish, Nineveh’s turn from evil and violence, Jonah’s anger at mercy, and God’s unanswered final question about people and animals. It does not suggest every storm is punishment or make children reenact drowning.
