Free grades 4–6 Sunday school lesson on 1 Kings 18:17–40. This reviewed eight-page PDF includes two pages of adult background, passage guide, 55-minute plan, printable source study, teacher key, full 1 Kings 18:39 KJV memory verse, and family page.

The guide distinguishes the prophets named in verse 19 from the 450 Baal prophets in the contest, includes the people’s initial silence and the violent ending, and rejects reenactment or a present-day mandate to harm religious opponents.
