It follows the promise given first to Manoah’s wife, Samson’s birth and calling to begin Israel’s deliverance, his harmful choices and violence, Delilah’s betrayal, his capture and blindness, and his final prayer and death. The actual Judges 13:5 KJV memory excerpt replaces the placeholder. The guide does not claim Judges calls all of Samson’s choices “redeemed,” equate blindness with sin, or treat revenge as a model. Hebrews 11:32 and the gospel are marked as later Scripture.
