Free pre-k & kindergarten lesson on Joshua 1:1–18 and 6:1–27. This reviewed six-page PDF gives volunteers the full serious account, a gentle age-appropriate script, a supplied printable sequence cards, and a family page.
The guide identifies intervening chapters 2–5, Joshua’s commission, preparation, God’s particular instructions for Jericho, the city’s destruction, and Rahab’s household being spared. The child memory is explicitly labeled as a Joshua 1:9 paraphrase. It names the deaths in calm language without pretending the wall’s fall was harmless, and avoids battle reenactments, frightening sound effects, or promises that courage prevents all harm. Later gospel teaching is separately sourced.
