The Ten Commandments: God Speaks at Sinai — High School Sunday School Lesson

Free high school Sunday school lesson on Exodus 19:1–20:21. This reviewed nine-page PDF includes passage-specific volunteer background, a timed plan, a reproducible chart of all ten commands, a source study, teacher answers, and a family page. A separate claim-checking study tests claims about Exodus, later Scripture, and child safety.

The guide puts God’s rescue of Israel before the Sinai commands, teaches the holy mountain encounter and the people’s response, and prints the real Exodus 20:2 KJV memory verse. The chart is labeled as a paraphrase; read the actual commands in your preferred Bible translation. Later gospel teaching from Romans 3:20–24 and 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 is distinguished from Exodus. Child safety guidance rejects using parental honor to require secrecy about harm.
