Free Pre-K and Kindergarten (4–6) Sunday school lesson on Exodus 1:1–2:10. This reviewed six-page teacher guide, timed plan, printable helper cards, and family page gives volunteers background on Pharaoh’s oppression, the midwives Shiphrah and Puah, Moses’ mother and sister, and Pharaoh’s daughter. The adults protect and care for Moses in a dangerous time. The lesson respects both his birth mother and the daughter who receives him as her son.
Young children use a clearly labeled paraphrase from Exodus 2, never a fabricated Bible quotation. No water or baby basket reenactment is required. The guide does not promise that every child escapes danger or blame all Egyptians for Pharaoh’s policy. Later gospel teaching is attributed to 1 Corinthians 15:3–4. Read the full passage in your preferred translation.
