Joseph and His Brothers: From Prison to Provision — Grades 1–3 Sunday School Lesson

Free Grades 1–3 Sunday school lesson across Genesis 37 and 39–45. This reviewed nine-page volunteer guide, timed plan, two reproducible studies, keys, and family page traces Joseph’s brothers selling him, his hardship in Egypt, his work preparing for famine, and his later disclosure to his brothers. The lesson names the brothers’ harm as wrong even though Joseph later helps his family; it never requires a harmed child to reconcile unsafely.

Memory is a clearly labeled Genesis 45:4 KJV excerpt: “I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.” The lesson includes verse-based classroom work and a family follow-up. Read the full narrative in your preferred translation.
