God Calls Abraham (Abram in Genesis 12) — Nursery (0–2) Sunday School Lesson

Free Nursery (0–2) Sunday school lesson on Genesis 12:1–9. This reviewed five-page adult guide, gentle script, adult-held picture card, and family page gives a busy volunteer passage-specific preparation and a ready-to-use activity. God calls Abram and promises a great nation, blessing, and blessing for all families of the earth. Abram travels with Sarai, Lot, and others into Canaan, builds altars, and worships. The land is not empty or instantly possessed; at this point the names are Abram and Sarai.

Adult memory: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:” Genesis 12:2, KJV. Young children use a labeled paraphrase. The guide connects the promise to Christ from Galatians 3:8, 16 and Jesus’ death and resurrection from 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, without telling children to leave home.
