The serpent tricked Eve into disobeying God. Adam also disobeyed. Sin came into the world. But God promised someone would come to fix what sin broke.
Gospel Connection: The serpent crushed the heel of the woman’s offspring — Jesus — but Jesus crushed the serpent’s head on the cross (Hebrews 2:14).
