Lesson Overview

God formed Adam from the dust and breathed life into him. God gave Adam a job — to care for the garden. Then God made Eve to be Adam’s friend and helper. God walked with them in the cool of the day. God made people to be in relationship with Him. We were made to walk with God.

Connection to the Gospel

God breathed life into Adam, but sin broke that walk. Jesus came to restore our friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18).
