Introduction
Welcome to Launching Your Young Adult. This resource is designed specifical[10D[K
specifically for the families and small church communities in our rural and[3D[K
and small towns who are navigating the complex and exciting transition into[4D[K
into young adulthood. This period is marked by immense change, uncertainty [K
about the future, and the pressure to make significant decisions about care[4D[K
career, education, and personal faith. Our goal is not simply to offer secu[4D[K
secular advice but to anchor this journey in the unchanging truths of God’s[5D[K
God’s Word.
This guide is structured into two sessions that work together to address th[2D[K
the central theme: how to prepare your heart, mind, and spirit for independ[8D[K
independence and the career calling God has placed on your life. We will ex[2D[K
explore foundational biblical principles found in Proverbs, Deuteronomy, an[2D[K
and Joshua to help you develop wisdom, establish a resilient faith, and und[3D[K
understand how to trust God during transitions.
How to use this resource: We encourage you to read each session slowly, ref[3D[K
reflecting on the Scripture and the teachings. Use the provided discussion [K
questions to start conversations with your spouse, your children, or your c[1D[K
church group. Most importantly, use the “This Week’s Application” sections [K
to identify one specific, practical step you can take this week to apply th[2D[K
the lesson to your real-life circumstances. We pray that as you walk throug[6D[K
