James is the most practical book in the New Testament. It does not let you sit comfortably with belief that does not produce action.
This 6-session small group study works through James with discussion questions, personal study, and real-world application challenges designed for small groups of 4-12 people.
Six sessions:
- Trials and Wisdom (James 1:1-18), why hard things are not wasted
- Hearing and Doing (James 1:19-27), the gap between knowing and living
- Favoritism and Faith (James 2:1-13), who gets a seat at your table
- Faith and Works (James 2:14-26), what real belief looks like from the outside
- The Tongue (James 3), the smallest member with the most power
- Patience and Prayer (James 4-5), waiting well and praying specifically
Each session includes: opening question, Bible passage, 5-7 discussion questions at varying depths, a personal application challenge, and a closing prayer prompt. Leader guide with facilitation notes included. No prior small group leadership experience required.
