Gospel Conversation Role-Play Cards

$0.00

20 realistic gospel conversation scenarios with coaching tips for each one. Practice before teenagers do it for real. Includes Dare2Share G.O.S.P.E.L. framework. Free download for small church youth groups.

Practice makes courage easier. These 20 role-play cards give teenagers realistic scenarios for sharing their faith, and now each card includes coaching tips that explain not just what to do, but why, and how to navigate the conversation well.

Most teenagers freeze when they try to share their faith because they have never practiced. This resource changes that. By the time a teenager has worked through these 20 scenarios, they will have had more gospel conversations, even in practice, than most adults have in a year.

What is inside:

  • 20 realistic scenarios teenagers actually face: the lunch table, the late-night text, the grieving friend, the skeptic, the social media post, the co-worker, and more
  • Coaching tips for each scenario explaining the psychology of the conversation, what to say and what not to say, and how to navigate the specific challenge
  • Instructions for youth leaders on how to run the exercise effectively
  • Debrief questions for group discussion after role-plays
  • All Scripture references in ESV

How to use: Print the cards or display on a screen. Pair students up. One plays the Christian, one plays the friend. The Christian gets the scenario and coaching tips. Allow 3-5 minutes per scenario, then debrief together. Rotate roles so everyone practices both sides.

A note on the G.O.S.P.E.L. framework: Several scenarios reference sharing the gospel using the G.O.S.P.E.L. acrostic, developed by Greg Stier and Dare2Share Ministries. Their Life in 6 Words resource is a free companion to these cards. Brent Lacy has used this framework personally for nearly a decade in youth evangelism training.
