Free Junior High Sunday school lesson from Acts 6:8–8:1. This reviewed nine-page edition with background, a 60-minute plan, two printed source studies, key, and family page teaches the false accusations, Stephen’s survey of God’s work, his vision of Jesus, and his death without graphic reenactment. Stephen was an adult and a witness to Jesus, not a second savior.
Memory: “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” Acts 7:56, KJV excerpt. The lesson makes clear that the killing was wrong, does not blame Jewish people as a whole, and tells students to seek safety and trusted-adult help if threatened or harmed. Jesus died for sins and rose again; faith in him brings forgiveness and life.
