Free eight-page John 11:1-44 lesson for ages 4-6. The volunteer guide provides background on Martha, Mary, Jesus’ tears and Lazarus; a complete child-level story script; a class plan; one color teaching picture; two low-ink activity pages; and a family page.
Children observe a black-and-white scene of Jesus listening to the sisters and practice words that care for a sad friend. The lesson includes the complete KJV verse John 11:35 and does not promise that every loved one who dies will return home now.
