Jesus Raises Lazarus — 1st-3rd Grade (Ages 6-9)

This free Grades 1–3 lesson teaches John 11:1–44 with care: Lazarus died, Martha and Mary grieved, Jesus wept, and Jesus called Lazarus from the tomb.

The corrected PDF includes a complete teaching script or outline, printable observation map, teacher key or visual, and family page. The real memory verse is “Jesus wept” (John 11:35, KJV); teachers may read the passage in their preferred translation. The lesson does not promise a grieving student that a loved one will return now as Lazarus did.
