Tips for a Good Listing
- Be specific about the role. “Youth Pastor” is less helpful than “Part-time Youth Pastor for a 60-member rural church in Ohio.”
- Include compensation range. Candidates appreciate transparency, and it saves everyone time.
- Describe your church culture. Small church candidates care about fit as much as salary.
- Mention if the position is bi-vocational. Many qualified candidates are looking for exactly that.
