About the Church
Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church has been a faithful presence in the Gloucester Courthouse community since 1880, founded by families seeking to plant a church home for their children. Of the 40 people at the first official meeting, 24 were children and youth — and the church carries on that same spirit today.
The church is a multi-generational congregation welcoming members from infants to those in their nineties. The church believes it is called by God to build up the next generation for the work of His Kingdom, and so it prioritizes children, youth, and family ministries. The youth ministry is currently growing rapidly, and the church is seeking a faithful steward to continue developing it.
Position Summary
The Youth Ministry Director will develop and champion youth ministry at Grace Covenant by engaging with youth and their families, building relationships, and creating opportunities for young people to grow in their faith and in community with one another.
