Sharon Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and energetic Worship Director to encourage and coordinate musical worship in our congregation. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and lead music for Sunday services, special music events, and revivals. Direct or supervise the adult choir and praise team, and facilitate weekly rehearsals. Direct congregational singing and actively promote participation in the church's music ministry. Work closely with the Pastor and the Music Committee to develop and enhance the music ministry. Supervise instrumentalists, including the church pianist. Submit music selections weekly and provide content for the church announcements. Prepare and manage an annual music budget in cooperation with church leadership. Ensure all music materials comply with copyright laws. Attend and participate in Church Council meetings and quarterly Music Committee meetings. Be available, when possible, to provide music for funerals and special occasions. Qualifications Personal testimony of a growing faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to a Christ-centered lifestyle. Musically talented, vocally and/or instrumentally. A willingness to learn, with strong character and integrity in all interactions. Doctrinal beliefs aligned with Sharon Baptist Church and The Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Professionalism and appropriate attire for all services and rehearsals. Experience in music leadership in a church setting is preferred Experience with Audio/Video equipment is a plus.   Why Join Sharon Baptist Church?
