The Pastor of Emory Baptist Church is expected to have a Seminary (Masters) degree from a conservative Baptist seminary, plus have a minimum of 10 years Senior Pastor responsibility. He should meet the requirements set out in First Timothy 3:1-7. He should be able to confidently relate the plan of salvation and his call to ministry. He should confirm and support “The Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2000.
