Mt. Home Community Church in Lamar, Arkansas is seeking a Senior Pastor. Mt. Home is an interdenominational rural congregation with members from many different backgrounds, located near the foothills of the Ozark Mountains overlooking the Arkansas River Valley. The multigenerational church family is active in several community outreach missions. Bible Study/Sunday School at 10:00am and Worship Service at 11:00am on Sundays. Youth Group and Adult Bible Study meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm. Church facilities are in excellent condition and the congregation operates debt free. The pastor will plan and deliver weekly sermons, shepherd the congregation, visit shut-ins, and make hospital and nursing home calls. Currently bi-vocational; negotiable based on church finances.
