The church is an independent Christian church in the Restoration Movement, committed to the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the mission of making disciples. Noble is a small rural community in Richland County, Illinois.
Position Description
First Christian Church of Noble is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Minister to lead and serve its congregation. The church is seeking a faithful minister who will help lead the congregation into the future while building upon its rich heritage of faith.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preaching and teaching biblically sound, Christ-centered messages
- Providing spiritual leadership for the congregation
- Working alongside church elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers
- Shepherding and caring for church members through visitation, counseling, and encouragement
- Leading and supporting evangelism and community outreach efforts
- Officiating weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other church functions
- Encouraging discipleship, ministry involvement, and congregational growth
Qualifications
- A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to biblical authority
- Embrace of the principles and heritage of the Restoration Movement
- Effective preaching, teaching, and pastoral care abilities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ministry experience and/or appropriate biblical training
- Formal ministry education preferred but not required
