Willis, TX – FBC WILLIS | PASTOR OF WORSHIP & MEDIA Ministry Job Details Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION OF PASTOR OF WORSHIP & MEDIA Click here to apply Reports To: Senior Pastor   PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: The Pastor of Music & Media provides leadership for the worship and media ministries of the church. Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, this position oversees worship services, technical production, and church communications to support meaningful worship, discipleship, and outreach. While this role includes oversight of both worship and media ministries, the primary emphasis will be on leading and developing the music ministry, with media responsibilities serving as a secondary but important support role.   MUSIC MINISTRY Lead, plan, and evaluate all aspects of the church’s worship ministry. Recruit, train, disciple, and lead worship team members, musicians, vocalists, and technical volunteers. Work with the Senior Pastor to plan weekly worship services and special events. Select music and resources that align with the church’s theology, vision, and ministry goals. Oversee rehearsals and ensure excellence in worship leadership and service execution. Manage worship ministry equipment, technology, and budget, including audio, instruments, lighting, Planning Center, ProPresenter, and livestream preparation. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.   MEDIA MINISTRY Build and lead a volunteer media team to support church communication and production needs. Oversee livestream, sound booth, presentation media, and related technical systems. Create and manage digital communication, including social media, promotions, and ministry announcements. With media team, produce media content such as videos, graphics, and online resources that support worship, discipleship, and outreach.
