P/T Worship Minister- Contemporary at Frontier Church | NextStep.SBTexas.com P/T Worship Minister- Contemporary Frontier Church | Aledo, TX Posted Date 8/25/2026 First Posted 8/25/2026 Description WORSHIP MINISTER Primary Responsibility Lead the worship ministry of Frontier Church by shepherding, developing, and coordinating musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers to create Christ-centered, biblically faithful, and engaging worship experiences. Worship Leadership Lead and shepherd musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers. Select songs and lead worship with theological and pastoral intentionality. Plan weekly worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor. Develop creative worship elements that support the sermon and overall service flow. Build a healthy, unified, and spiritually growing worship team culture. Recruit, audition, train, and develop new worship team members. Weekly Service Planning Select songs that complement the sermon text and series. Prepare keys, arrangements, transitions, charts, tracks, and rehearsal materials. Maintain Planning Center with accurate service information. Coordinate with production volunteers regarding sound, slides, lighting, and service cues. Ensure ProPresenter lyrics and worship elements are accurate and prepared. Lead rehearsals, sound checks, team prayer, and Sunday worship. Team Development & Pastoral Leadership Provide regular communication, encouragement, and spiritual support to worship volunteers. Develop musicians and leaders both spiritually and musically. Conduct periodic team training and development. Help create a culture of worship, prayer, preparation, excellence, humility, and teamwork. Church Leadership Participate in weekly staff meetings and regular meetings with the Lead Pastor. Collaborate with church staff on ministry strategy, special services, and outreach events. Provide appropriate pastoral care and relational support to members and volunteers. Participate in the broader life and ministry of Frontier Church. Administration & Production Maintain appropriate CCLI, music, track, and licensing requirements. Coordinate equipment needs and communicate with setup/tear-down and production teams. Maintain alignment with the church calendar and Lead Pastor. Help evaluate and improve the overall Sunday worship experience. Qualifications A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to biblical faithfulness. Demonstrated musical and vocal ability with experience leading congregational worship. Strong leadership, communication, relational, and organizational skills. Ability to recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteers. Comfortable working with Planning Center, ProPresenter, tracks, and basic worship-production systems. A team-oriented spirit and willingness to serve the overall mission of Frontier Church. Department Music/Worship Status Part-Time Minimum Experience in Years 0-5 Affiliation Our church/ministry is affiliated with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
