Spray Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based body of believers.  Our church is located about 45 minutes north of Greensboro.  Since our founding in 1903, our church has remained committed to loving God and others. We offer a blend of traditional and contemporary worship and are prayerfully seeking a leader to guide our music ministry. Description: We are currently accepting resumes until December 31 st , 2025 for a Full-Time Minister of Music to lead our entire music ministry. The individual would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading music for all worship services, including Sunday mornings, special services, and seasonal events. The Minister of Music will be responsible for recruiting and equipping volunteers, taking the lead in building and expanding a church-wide music ministry. In addition to the music ministry, there are non-music ministry responsibilities that will be based on the applicant's spiritual gifts and passions. These responsibilities are a part of the weekly job expectations. These gifts could include, but are not limited to missions, youth, children, outreach, shepherding, or administration. Salary Range: $42,000-$50,000 depending upon experience and education.   Qualifications Clear testimony and be a follower of Jesus Passion for music of all types, but especially for hymns and praise choruses Some music training and experience planning, preparing and leading worship services Must agree with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the Spray Baptist Church Statement of Faith and by-laws.   Abilities Can proficiently play an instrument (preferably piano) Quality singing voice Ability to connect and engage with the congregation Team player with good relational and communication skills and a positive attitude Has experience with or is willing to learn skills not related to worship to promote the vision of the church (ie website, photography, sound system, etc)   Responsibilities Develop and manage a comprehensive worship and music ministry program for all demographics of the church (children, youth, adults) In coordination with the pastor, oversee the planning, preparation and leadership of Sunday morning services Ensure a high quality of music and media in both content (biblically and theologically strong) and presentation Recruit, train and lead volunteers in the music ministry including regular rehearsals.
