Position Description
Living Message Church in Clermont, Florida is seeking an Associate Pastor. The Associate Pastor will work alongside the senior pastor in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and ministry leadership.
Responsibilities
Ministry of the Word
Preach and teach regularly as assigned. Lead Bible studies and discipleship classes.
Connections and Assimilation
Oversee guest follow-up and integration into church life. Develop pathways from guest to membership to discipleship to service. Equip volunteers to engage new attendees.
Youth Ministry Oversight
Provide theological direction and leadership for youth ministry. Support and develop youth ministry volunteers.
Member Care
Provide pastoral care and support to congregation members. Assist with hospital visits, counseling, and life events.
Qualifications
- Commitment to biblical preaching and pastoral ministry
- Heart for discipleship and congregational care
- Experience in ministry leadership
- Agreement with the church’s statement of faith
