It explains the promise given first to Manoah’s wife, Samson’s calling to begin Israel’s deliverance, his harmful choices, Delilah’s betrayal, his capture and blindness, and his final prayer and death. The child memory is explicitly labeled as a Judges 13:5 paraphrase. The guide does not suggest that strength made every choice good, call his death a happy redemption, use blindfold or strength games, or equate blindness with sin.
