Senior Pastor

Marshall Federated Church was established in 1928 when churches of different denominations merged and adopted a “federation of churches” becoming the Marshall Federated Church. Today we are more of an interdenominational community (serving the local and surrounding area) church. Most church members are not a member of a specific denomination. While we are very proud of our heritage, we want to look to the future. We are looking for a senior pastor who is passionate about Christ and the Bible and who is interested in revival. We are looking for a pastor who will help us grow spiritually and reach out to our friends and neighbors who may not have a home church. We want Bible based messages.

We are willing to work with the right candidate to determine whether that will be a full or part-time position. We are not opposed to a bi-vocational or co-vocational pastor. We are praying that our new pastor will be welcoming, enthusiastic, and spirit filled.

Primary Responsibilities for the position include:

• Conduct 2 church services on Sunday, 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Each service has members and attendees who are faithful to their service
• Conduct special services as needed for holidays, mainly Easter and Christmas
• Conduct a Wednesday evening service or Bible study
• Provide ministry for the youth/teens- We do not currently have a teen program and would like to get one started. We recognize the importance of a program to teach and nurture the next generation
• Provide pastoral care for attendees and homebound
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Ministerial experience or Biblical training from an accredited Bible college or seminary is preferred, but not required. Someone who is enthusiastic about their faith and who feels called to minister in a small rural community could also be considered.

Compensation:

$35,000- $50,000
