The serpent tricked Eve into disobeying God. Adam also disobeyed. Sin came into the world. But God promised someone would come to fix what sin broke.

Connection to the Gospel

The serpent crushed the heel of the woman’s offspring — Jesus — but Jesus crushed the serpent’s head on the cross (Hebrews 2:14).
