Children’S Director — Children’s ministry; Family ministry | Orange, CA

Oversee all program for children (birth – 6th grade) throughout Taft Ave Community Church
• Plan and implement curriculum for Sunday morning kids classes (Sundays 10:30). [Average weekly attendance 165 people with 20 kids]
• Schedule teachers and volunteers for Sunday morning kids classes [Average six volunteers]
• Work with other ministry leaders to lead annual FallFest family event (Oct 24) preschool and elementary age trick-or-treat event
• Work with other ministry leaders to create midweek kids program (Wednesday nights)
• Recruit and train new volunteers
• Maintain ongoing security LiveScan system
• Maintain classrooms and workspace for ministry purposes
• Support other church ministries as needed and perform other duties as assigned
• Meet weekly with lead pastor
• Attend weekly staff meeting (Wed 1 p.m.)
