Jesus Answers the Tempter — Pre-K & Kindergarten Lesson (Matthew 4:1–11)

Free pre-k & kindergarten Sunday school lesson on Matthew 4:1–11. This reviewed 7-page PDF provides two pages of volunteer background, an age-specific script and timed plan, printable sequence cards, an actual Matthew 4:10 KJV memory excerpt, and a family page.

Teach the wilderness setting and all three temptations: bread, the temple jump with Scripture misused, and kingdoms offered for worship. Jesus answers from Scripture, the devil leaves, and angels minister to him. The lesson avoids risky reenactments and connects his obedience to the later gospel of his death and resurrection.
