Free grades 1–3 Sunday school lesson on the ascension of the risen Jesus in Acts 1:1–11. This nine-page volunteer edition includes passage-specific teacher background, a 45-minute plan, three ready-to-print activities, answer key, and family follow-up.
The printed memory excerpt is the exact KJV wording “Ye shall be witnesses unto me” (Acts 1:8). Read the full passage in your preferred translation. The lesson explains the Spirit’s promised power, the apostolic witness, Jesus’ ascension and promised return, and the gospel of repentance and forgiveness through the crucified and risen Christ. It distinguishes Acts 1 from the companion passage Luke 24.
