The Fall: When People Disobeyed — Pre-K and Kindergarten (4–6) Sunday School Lesson

Free Pre-K and Kindergarten (4–6) Sunday school lesson on Genesis 3:1–24. The reviewed six-page teacher script, plan, reproducible story cards, and family page gives a busy volunteer passage-specific background and a ready-to-use activity. The serpent questions God’s word, both Adam and Eve disobey, God confronts and judges them, and God continues to speak and provide. Genesis 3:15 points Christian readers toward Christ, while the passage itself does not name Jesus.

Adult memory text: “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21, KJV. Younger children use a clearly labeled paraphrase. Read the whole passage in your preferred translation. The lesson explains the gospel from later Scripture without blaming Eve alone, pressing children for public confessions, or treating ordinary illness as proof of a child’s personal sin.
