Missions Spotlight

Among the Aeta people of the Philippines, one of the oldest indigenous groups in Southeast Asia, missionaries have found that the concept of being ‘made by God’ resonates deeply. The Aeta have a strong sense of community and family that opens doors for sharing about the God who made us all in His image, every person, every tribe, every nation.

To the Cross

God made people in His own image to be close to Him. But soon, Adam and Eve would sin and break that special relationship. That’s why Jesus came, to restore the image of God in us. Colossians 3:10 says we are ‘renewed in knowledge in the image of our Creator.’ Jesus makes us new again.

Family Take-Home

This week we learned that God made people special, in His own image! He gave us the ability to think, love, create, and know Him. God made Adam and Eve and placed them in a beautiful garden. He made each one of us too, and He loves us very much.
