The Rescue Gospel is a four-movement gospel framework built for ordinary Christians in small and rural churches. Simple enough to learn in one meeting. Memorable enough to use in a real conversation the next day. And it does not end at the fourth movement. It begins there.

The Four Movements
Each movement has a one-sentence summary, a Scripture anchor, and a diagnostic question you can use in real conversations to find where someone is in the story.
1. Created
God made us to know him. That was the original design , relationship, not religion.
2. Broken
Sin separated us from God. We all know something is wrong. The Bible calls it sin.
3. Rescued
Jesus came to do what we could not do for ourselves. He died for our sin and rose from the dead. The rescue is real.
4. Respond
A rescue only works if you accept it. Trusting Jesus means turning from living your own way and trusting him.
Rescued—Now What?
The fourth movement is not the end of the story. It is the beginning. The person who responds to the Rescue Gospel has been pulled out of the water. They are standing on solid ground. And they are asking the most natural question in the world: now what?
The answer is a journey. And that journey has a destination most new believers do not expect: they become rescuers themselves.
How to Use This Framework
In Evangelism Conversations
Walk through the four movements in your own words. You do not need to memorize a script. You need to internalize four ideas: Created, Broken, Rescued, Respond. Use the diagnostic questions to find where the person is in the story. Start there.
In Discipleship
Use the Now What journey to structure your first-year discipleship with new believers. Grow comes first , Bible, prayer, and community. Go comes next , helping the new believer see their neighborhood as a mission field. Rescue Others is the destination , the moment a new believer shares the gospel for the first time.
